Service Areas
Anywhere in the US. These are the Texas markets we know well enough to write about specifically — and what stays the same everywhere else.
On First Call works anywhere in the United States. These pages exist for the markets we know well enough to write about specifically.
Nothing about the product changes by location — it answers your phone, reads your calendar, and texts your customers. What changes is what a missed call costs you, and that depends almost entirely on how far apart your jobs are and how bad your worst week gets.
If your city isn't listed, that's not a limitation — it's just a page we haven't written. The setup is identical: you keep your number and your carrier, a code on your own phone forwards the calls you don't answer, and your service area is something you type in rather than something we decide.
Callers from outside the area you've set aren't turned away. The booking still happens and you're told it came from outside your usual patch, so you can decide whether it's worth the drive rather than losing the call.
The trade pages go into what changes about the calls themselves: plumbers, HVAC companies, electricians, and general contractors, carpenters and builders.
Wherever you are, the number that decides this is your own. The calculator on the homepage takes your missed calls per week, your average job value, and how often you close the calls you answer.
No. On First Call works anywhere in the US — it answers your phone, reads your calendar and texts your customers, none of which depends on where you are. Texas has its own pages because that's where we're based and where we can write about the local realities honestly rather than generically.
Yes, and nothing about the setup changes. The pages exist for people searching by city name, not as a list of where the product functions. Your service area is something you write during setup, and the assistant uses your words for it.
You tell it. During setup you list the towns and areas you cover, and it uses that to answer "do you come out to…" questions. If someone calls from outside it, it still takes the booking and flags it to you rather than turning away work you might want.
No. You keep your existing number and your existing carrier. A code dialled on your own phone forwards only the calls you don't answer, so nothing about how customers reach you changes.
Working hours are set per business, and calls outside them are still answered and booked into your next available slot. If you run genuinely different hours across areas, tell us during setup and we'll configure it.
